DAY 01 (INCHEON - SEOUL)
Upon arrival, meet & greet by our representative
and transfer to hotel. Check in and rest.
Welcome dinner at Korea House with traditional performance.

DAY 02 (SEOUL)
This morning, pursuit to Daejangguem filming site
after breakfast. Changdok Palace that has been designated
by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site. Continue
onto visit Jongmyo Royal Shrine where the worshiping
place for the kings of the Josun Dynasty. It was
built when the first King of the Josun Dynasty,
Lee Sung-Gye(1335-1408) founded the Josun Dynasty.
Jongmyo Royal Shrine is registered as World Cultural
Heritage because the tradition and customs such
as the memorial services and traditional music are
very well preserved. You will shop at the country's
largest wholesale center at Dongdaemun Market. (BF
/ L / D)
** Changdok Palace, it appeared in episode 1 depicting
the procession of King Yeonsangun, episode 3 depicting
the procession of King Jungjong, episode 51 where
King Jungjong is prevented from entering the residence
of his son Gyeongwondaegun, and episodes 51 and
52 in which King Jungjong walks and talks with Jang-geum
DAY 03 (SEOUL / YONGINL / SUWON / SEOUL)
After breakfast, a Half day of The Korean Folk Village.
Over 260 traditional houses reminiscent of the late
Josun Dynasty including various household goods
from the different regions. All these features have
been relocated and restored to provide visitors
with a general view of Korean food, clothing, and
housing style of a past era. Move to Suwon, visit
Hwasung Haenggung Palace where other numerous scenes
were also shot here
Back to Seoul and overnight (BF/ L /D)
** Korean Folk Village was the location of episode
54, in which Jang-geum gives birth to Min Jung-ho's
child, and Jang-geum, Min Jung-ho and the baby become
a family. It is also the site of episode 51 in which
Jang-geum takes care of smallpox patients in a village
** Haenggung Palace were filmed at scenes of little
Jang-geum undergoing training at the palace in episodes
3 and 4, the cooking competition in episode 8, the
training of women doctors and Naeuiwon (medical
facility in the palace) scenes in the latter episodes,
and many others.
DAY 04 (SEOUL / EVERLAND /SEOUL)
Today, endless fun awaits you in Everland, located
in Yongin, is a huge theme park, which includes
a zoo, snow sledding, and botanical garden. Everland
has three distinct themes, Festival World, Caribbean
Bay; Festival World has a global fair, American
Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, and Equatorial
Adventure. Each was built with it's own uniqueness
and style. Caribbean Bay is the very first water
park in Korea. Its main feature is the wave pool,
and many people come here in the summer just to
ride those waves. Lunch is at your own.
Move to Gimpo in the afternoon for flying to Jeju
Island. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check
in. Overnight at hotel in Jeju (BF/ D)
DAY 05 (JEJU/ SEOUL)
This morning, we will continue to pursuit of Daejanggeum
shooting location for full day.
Jeju Folk Village
With a total of 117 houses and facilities, Jeju
Folk Village Museum has restored the scenes of the
village in the 1890's. Among them are Mountain Village,
Hill-Country Village, Fishing Village and Shamanism
Village. Here, information with photos and descriptions
of the scenes make it easier for visitors to find
the locations. In particular, there is a large photo
of Daejanggeum in front of the Jeju government office
gate, where visitors like to take photographs.
** Many of the scenes in which Jang-geum learns
medicine as a maidservant for the Jeju local government
from episodes 27 to 32 were filmed here
Hyeopjae Beach
Hyeopjae Beach is located on the west side of Hanrim-eup,
and is part of the Hanrim Park. Its white sand has
a lot of fine seashell power mixed into it, and
just off the beach is Biyangdo Island. The long
seashore is 9 km long and has evergreen forests
and cobalt color seawater scattered here and there,
making the scenery very beautiful.
** The scenes in episode 28, in which Min Jung-ho
looks out to sea as Jang-geum leaves by boat, and
the scene in which Jang-geum runs towards her cottage
residence were shot here.
Oedolgae
Oedolgae that floats offshore of Sammaebong Seogwipo
City is an amazing rock with 10 metres in circumference
and 20 metres in height and is also knowned as the
Changgun Rock. It is surrounded by beautiful islands
such as Bum Island, Sae Island and Seonnyu(fairy)
Rock.
**In episodes 30 and 31, Jang-geum stands alone
on a precipice looking out to the sea in firm resolution.
A site offering a spectacular view, Oedolgae is
one of the most visited tourist sites on Jeju-do
Island
Jeju Jinjigul Cave(Fortress Cave)
Aiming to use Jeju-do Island as an advance base
to protect its mainland, the Japanese military excavated
Jinjigul Cave in early 1945. An exhibition showing
military equipment and everyday articles used by
the Japanese military is recently being opened in
the cave, and it is becoming a popular tourist attraction.
** In episode 54, Jang-geum finds a woman in labor
inside the cave. She performs an operation that
saves both the woman and her child. Jinjigul Cave
is actually man-made.
Seongeup-ri Ranch Area in Namjeju-gun
Many of the scenes were filmed on an open range
located in Seongeup-ri, Pyoseong-myeon, Namjeju-gun.
Filmed here were scenes of Jang-geum carrying the
dying Courtier Han on her back and later burying
her. This is also where Jang-geum is taken by a
military guard to a place of exile on the island.
Other scenes shot here were Jang-geum going back
to search for Lady Han's grave, and erecting the
tombstone. Visitors can still see the tombstone
by registering for the Daejanggeum tour operated.
A thrilling experience awaits tour-goers, who will
visit the filming locations in an all terrain four-wheeled
vehicle.

Morning flight to Seoul, Afternoon leisurely free
for shopping at Namdaemoon Market

There is time for some last minute shopping before
we bid farewell to Seoul and transfer to the airport
